More Than You Could Carry

So Jehoshaphat and his men went to carry off their plunder, and they found among them a great amount of equipment and clothing and also articles of value—more than they could take away. There was so much plunder that it took three days to collect it.

2 Chronicles 20:25 (NIV)

Judah came to the battlefield expecting a fight and left carrying plunder. There was so much that it took three days to collect it all, more than they could take away.

God does not only bring you through. He brings you out with something in your hands: a testimony, and faith that is stronger than before.

Do not leave your hard season empty-handed. Take time this week to gather up what God gave you on the other side of the battle.

Reflect

What did you gain from a battle God brought you through?

Pray

Thank You, Lord, for bringing me out with more than I went in with. Help me see and gather everything You have given me. Amen.

“God does not only bring you through. He brings you out with something in your hands.”
