How can we help?
Answers to common questions about the Daily Love app. If you don't see yours here, email us and a member of our team will get back to you within two business days.
Victory Community Church, 8650 Ferdinand Street, Houston, TX 77051
The daily words
When do the daily words arrive?
Your morning word arrives at 9:00 AM and your afternoon word at 4:00 PM, in your phone's time zone.
I'm not getting the alerts.
Open the app, tap the gear at the top of the Today screen, and make sure both alerts are turned on. If they won't turn on, go to your phone's Settings, find Daily Love, and allow notifications. Opening the app once a week keeps the upcoming alerts up to date.
Where do the devotionals come from?
Each week's devotionals and daily words are drawn from the sermon Pastor Otis J. Petteway, III preached the Sunday before at Victory Community Church. Scripture is quoted from the New International Version.
Can I read past days?
Yes. Tap Past days at the bottom of the Today screen.
The planner
What does the planner cost?
The planner unlocks for $9.99 a year. Everything else in Daily Love is free.
How do I cancel?
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Daily Love. On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
I got a new phone. How do I get my planner back?
Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account, open the app, tap the gear on the Today screen, and tap Restore purchases.
Where is my planner saved?
Your goals, to-dos, prayer list and notes are saved on your phone only. We never see them.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple and Google. On iPhone, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, request one from your Google Play order history.
The Prayer Wall
Why hasn't my request appeared yet?
Pastor Otis reads and approves every request before it is posted, so it can take up to 24 hours.
What isn't posted?
Requests that share someone else's private details, include links or phone numbers, sell something, or are hurtful or off topic.
How do I report or hide a post?
Tap the three dots on any request. You can report it, which hides it right away while our team reviews it, or hide every post from that person on your phone.
How do I remove a request I shared?
Email us with the words of your request and we'll take it down.
