From “A Sweatless Victory”

When the Singing Started

As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

2 Chronicles 20:22 (NIV)

Judah was facing a vast army, and the strategy God gave them was praise. "As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes" against their enemies. The battle turned when the singing started.

We usually save praise for after the victory. We will thank God when the report comes back clean or the check clears. Judah praised before they saw anything change.

Whatever you are facing today, start singing before the battle is over. Praise is not what you do after God moves. Sometimes it is how you make room for Him to move.

Reflect

What battle could you start praising God through today, before you see the outcome?

Pray

Lord, I choose to praise You before I see the victory. Let my worship be my weapon today, and fight this battle for me. Amen.
