God Fights Battles You Never Touch

The Ammonites and Moabites rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another.

2 Chronicles 20:23 (NIV)

Judah never lifted a sword. Their enemies turned on each other until no one was left. The people of God won a fight they never had to throw a punch in.

Some of us are exhausted from fighting battles God never asked us to fight. We have been carrying the worry and the plan to get even.

That is a sweatless victory. You do your part, which is to trust and praise, and God does the fighting. Lay your weapons down today.

Father, I am tired of fighting what only You can win. I lay this battle at Your feet and trust You to handle it. Amen.
